Veterinary Assistant
Certified Vet Assistant, Dog Trainer and Fear Free Elite Professional. I worked many years of my career as a volunteer dog trainer helping displaced and challenging pets receive training and rehabilitation so they could be adopted into loving homes. Although that was very rewarding, I wanted to continue the pets journey with them and their new families by helping them understand how to communicate with their pets and build a strong loving bond while also keeping them healthy and live longer lives. I have six dogs of my own, the German Pointers, Rango and Stormy, who are always up to shananagins and keep me on my toes. and the little senior chi brigade; Peanut, Zoey, Augie and Roo. As a pet parent myself, I know how confusing and scary it can be when our fur-bies fall ill. With the help from the amazing staff here at avac, you and your pets can have a better experience. I believe by illiminating the stress in doctor visits we can make a difference in the overall health of each pet, physically and mentally. I’ve lived here in the great northwest my whole life and I take advantage of the muddy trails every chance I get. My husband and I pack the jeeps up, load our furbies in and go explore. I love watching the amazing German Shorthairs run along the beach in all their goofy glory! I can’t wait to meet you and your pets and embark on a lasting journey together!
